Last update Western storm
Friday 19 January 2018
KNMI has withdrawn weather alarm for all provinces.
18 January 11.00 AM - For the three northern provinces, code orange has been issued by the KNMI. For the rest of the country code is red. All locations remain open for the time being. Assess whether it is safe to travel to our locations during code orange and do not take any risks. If possible, sign out for lectures and other activities that you do not attend.
By code red we close the buildings.
We keep a close eye on the weather forecasts. Check our websites nhl. nl and stenden. com and our Facebook pages for updates.
18 January, 07.00 AM - For the three northern provinces, code yellow has been issued by KNMI. This means that all locations remain open today. All activities will also continue as planned.
We keep a close eye on the weather forecasts. Check the website Stenden. com and Facebook for updates.
17 January - The KNMI code is currently issuing yellow for tomorrow (Thursday 18 January) for the northern provinces in connection with (very) heavy gusts of wind and slippery weather.
Of course, we are keeping a close eye on the reports on this, but we advise you to do this yourself.
Code orange or red
In the case of orange code, there is in principle no closure of the buildings, but do not take unnecessary risks.
With code red, the buildings are closed and therefore no (les-) activities take place.
On Thursday morning 18 January at 07.00 at the latest, we will report this via stenden.com and social media.
